Jacksonville-based Spectrum Logistics was recognized as the Best International Freight Forwarder in North America at the 2nd Global Logistics & Freight Summit held September 1-3 in Xiamen, China. Director of Sales & Global Services, Greg Wellstead, received this prestigious award on behalf of Spectrum Logistics and remarked, “Spectrum Logistics’ international partnerships are increasing as we continue to provide excellent service to those we serve.”

The China International Logistics Professional Network (CILP) and China 21st Century Logistics Times (CLT) sponsored the 2nd Global Logistics & Freight Summit which aims to establish cooperative relationships among freight forwarding and logistics companies from around the world. Moreover, the summit provides a platform of discussion for new developments in the transportation and logistics industry, and allows companies to introduce their various service offerings for supply chain solutions. At the summit, Wellstead did a presentation on the growth of the Southeast U.S. and the advantages of doing business with the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) and Spectrum Logistics.

Due to its rapid growth in transportation services to the Far East, Spectrum Logistics was nominated for this award by members of the CILP and CLT. President of Spectrum Logistics, John Emery, states “Spectrum Logistics is very happy to receive this award as it validates the strong focus to build relationships and freight volumes from China.”
