Spectrum’s New Service to the Dominican Republic

Spectrum will use its established NVOCC, along with Syncro Logistics, to provide service to the Dominican Republic ports of Caucedo and Rio Haina. Service will include Dominican imports and exports, and will focus primarily on cargoes moving between the U.S. and the Dominican Republic, and from the Far East to the Dominican Republic.

Mr. Orlando Yanez, Director General and CEO of Syncro Logistics, and Greg Wellstead, Spectrum’s AVP of Sales & Global Services, signed the agreement on November 3. The signing took place at Spectrum’s corporate office in Jacksonville, FL.

“We continue to expand our Domestic Inland trucking division while looking internationally for other opportunities’” said John Emery, President of Spectrum Logistics. “Our new agreement with Syncro Logistics clearly demonstrates Spectrum Logistics appetite to grow,” continued Emery.

In addition to agency services, Syncro will dedicate a local account representative to focus on Spectrum sales and customer service. Ms. Valentina Santana Checo has been appointed by Syncro as Spectrum’s account representative and primary point of contact in the Dominican Republic.
