Export Services
We are a licensed Freight Forwarder. As a Freight Forwarder we perform the following duties:
- Quote export rates for ocean, air, domestic, FCL, LCL, OOG, distribution services
- Arrange for export trucking RORO, LOLO, and LCL
- Select most cost effective and efficient routing based on customer requirements
- Arrange for warehousing services (to include consolidation, in bond, distribution of cargo, packaging, crating, transfers)
- Work with all transportation suppliers (i.e. trucking, warehouse, carriers) and ensure appropriate suppliers meet quality standards
- Create In Bond documentation
- Create export documentation for steamship lines (master b/l)
- Arrange for customs export clearance of vehicles
- File SED/EEI, adhere to regulations in SED/EEI filing
- Provide in transit visibility to customers
- Obtain Exporter Power of Attorney and verify accuracy of information, Denied Party Screening for exporter and overseas importer
- Verify export commodity restrictions for export licenses / permits
- Educate exporters on Incoterms
- Prepare documentation including: commercial invoice, packing list, in bond, master b/l, insurance certificates
- Follow country requirements such as pre-shipment inspection, Form M, Consular Legalization, Chamber of Commerce certification
- Arrange courier documentation to overseas agent or consignee
- Facilitate banking requirements – letter of credit, sight draft, etc
- Assist clients/partners with any regulatory requirements
- Work with overseas agents to arrange foreign inland delivery, customs clearance, etc
